I haven't posted a new journal forever. But I just got to thinking today that if I had to make a "Top 10" list of my favorite video games ever, what would that list look like?
I thought about it and here's my list (in order of most influential to least. (which isn't saying that they're insignificant at all, mind you)). I hope you all gain some sort of insight into some awesome, great truth! hehe.
1. Chrono Trigger
2. Final Fantasy XI
3. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
4. Warcraft 3
5. Metal Gear Solid (duh!)
6. Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
7. Mega Man 3
8. Halo
9. Front Mission 3
10. Vagrant Story
It was hard for me to choose a Final Fantasy to represent the impact the series has had on me, but I think FF11 works best in that I dumped so much time and energy into it. I really enjoy FF12 and of course FF7 too, but I don't think it'd be fair to crowd the list with FF games.
Anyways, I'm sure I'll remember a game later and go "oh crap! I loved that game!" so maybe I'll do a Top 15 list later... But for now, this is complete!
